I began writing music when I was fourteen years old while studying guitar and piano. I began playing metal music as a guitarists. After that, I toured as a bassist with an indie band called The Ember Days. Consecutively after The Ember Days, I played bass in a hardcore band called, Jawbone, where I contributed to the songwriting as well as performed.
After playing in bands and touring around the United States, I left touring to pursue composing music for film and television. I landed my first commercial in 2012. During that time, I continued my music education through taking voice lessons and learning about music technology.
I attended Western Kentucky University the fall of 2012 where I studied Film Production and Music Theory. During my time at school, I took string techniques where I learned to play the viola.
After school, I went on to form my own production company, Harris Visual. I began working with my wife, Gracie, on creating our own short films and shooting commercials for clients. During that time, I scored over 20 commercials and 5 short films.
I am currently scoring full time and I have scored over 25 short films and 3 feature films.
